Wild Liverpool, the latest short film in the acclaimed CuriousWorks’ Meet+Eat series can be seen online from today.

Liverpool’s citizen of the year and Aboriginal elder Uncle Steve meets local historian and wild food forager, Glen.

Each episode of the Meet+Eat series uses the act of preparing and sharing a meal as a way of getting people from different walks of life to sit down and have a yarn. Often the meal they prepare will come from their cultural background or have some personal significance and this encourages deeper and more personal conversations.

Steve and Glen share stories of Aboriginal history and their different experiences of growing up in western Sydney, as they collect wild foods and Glen prepares a bush tucker feast with a modern twist.
