Young CuriousWorks reporters swung into action under the guidance of our filmmaker Guido Gonzalez at the Way Out West Festival for Children this week.

It’s all about starting young on our mission to create the next generation of Australian storytellers (and about causing all sorts of fun, creativity and mayhem in the process).

Each year, we ask for kid volunteers with an interest in filmmaking (some of whom are picking up a camera for the first time) and set them the task of documenting the festival. After days of training and shooting by our young reporting team, check out the finished edited result below. We reckon it’s a cracker!

The next WOW Festival is back at the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre in the school holidays, July 13 – 16, 2016.
