FUNPARK is back! Daisy Montalvo and the entire FUNPARK Coalition have been hard at work on how to revamp FUNPARK in a way that brings fun, creativity and connection to the kids of Bidwill without endangering anyone’s health during a global pandemic. The result is FUNPARK Live, an online program of live events, the majority of which are streamed over FUNPARK’s Facebook page.

The program includes:

– Weekly workshops every Wednesday over eight weeks, from parkour workshops with DMC, to puppet-making workshops with Imogen Ross.

– FUNPARK’s At Home Cinema, broadcasting local content every week from Mt. Druitt/Blacktown creators.

– A return of the Social Revolutionaries, with the live-stream of the 2020 Mt. Druitt Press Conference, a curated conversation between six young cultural leaders from Bidwill, shared live on June 4th and June 18th.

-FUN PACKs, packed up with care for 50 families across Mt. Druitt and Bidwill to make sure young people can participate in the live, weekly workshops.

Daisy Montalvo has been tirelessly working with the FUNPARK coalition to bring all the creativity, connection and FUN of the festival to Bidwill and beyond in a safe, healthy way. We are so proud of all the hard work that’s been done.

Be sure to join FUNPARK Live Online every week and #GetFUNPARKed!
