The CuriousWorks’ entirely digital 2020 Annual Report is now available here! After our eco-friendly digital annual report for 2019, we decided to continue  the trend this year with this beautifully designed report by Huy Nguyen.

Everyone knows 2020 was an unexpected, challenging year. Though we had high expectations for the last year, COVID-19 put many of our plans on pause. That being said, CuriousWorks has always been an agile, flexible organisation. In 2020, we:

– Found ways to navigate the digital pivot.

-Brought our in-person projects and festivals online.

-Created ways to continue making work and employing artists in safe, socially-distanced ways.

-Managed to make new connections internationally and across Western Sydney.

The cherry on top was when we celebrated (over Zoom) our successful multi-year funding from both national and state government arts funding bodies through the Australia Council for the Arts and Create NSW.

2020 was difficult, but the work we put in it made it possible for us to continue our mission to support the next generation of Australian artistic and cultural leaders.

You can read the CuriousWorks 2020 Annual Report here.  The previous CuriousWorks Annual Reports are available here. You can also watch some excerpts of how we stayed connected while social distancing here or in the video below.
