Penrith City Council's Magnetic Places Artist Development Series supports local creative artists interested in delivering placemaking and community-engaged arts practice. In June 2025, the CuriousWorks team led three workshops about learning community-engaged arts best practices, building capacity around creative placemaking as well as crafting compelling project proposals.

“Working with CuriousWorks was easy. Everything worked well: coordination, filming, production, editing. The films are authentic and well received by the communities.” – Astrid Perry, Settlement Services International (SSI)
Settlement Services International (SSI) officially launched their Championing Action for Tech Safety (CATS) and Strategies to Prevent Modern Slavery (STOP) projects on the 11th of March 2025. "What a wonderful experience collaborating with CuriousWorks on the research, filming and production of this short documentary. They created a professional, friendly and culturally safe environment for the participants, who shared openly about their personal stories. The final product met our brief perfectly, with a great balance of high quality production and relaxed authenticity." – Brittany Nguyen, Penrith Regional Gallery
