You have the idea, you have the drive; what do you do next?
Testing Ground is an experimental creative development and personal mentorship program for emerging artists trying to make new things.
The A- Z of the creative process is often weird and wonderful, but also opaque and confusing; it’s difficult to make new things on your own. Testing Ground is an opportunity to have the time, space and sounding board of other creatives to wade through the muck of creative process together.
Develop your projects to their next steps through personal mentorship, group building and discussion and professional development sessions. This program designed for emerging artists with strong project ideas that need direction and nurturing to get off the ground.
Timeframe: April – November 2022
CuriousWorks is a community arts and media organisation that works with young people and emerging artists and is based in the Casula Powerhouse Arts Organisation. We’ve also worked with installations, 360 film, zine making and more.
