OUR SOCIAL ENTERPRISE MODEL

“The skill and professionalism of the Curious Creators was awe-inspiring with great leadership that engages and encourages young emerging artists to explore and experiment.”

Lily Shearer
Artistic Director, Moogahlin Performing Arts

Our unique Social Enterprise model delivers professional products at lower cost while supporting skill building and professional development with young people from diverse cultural backgrounds who live in Western Sydney.

Our Social Enterprise Program pairs experienced community artists and filmmakers with young, talented, aspiring trainee artists (our Curious Creators) to deliver a range of professional community workshops, digital expertise and video production services to our clients.

Often positioned outside of traditional and existing pathways into the arts and cultural sector, these young people develop their skills through a range of creative opportunities and training. Our holistic model of community development is designed to also support the next step in career development through our Social Enterprise Program, by providing paid on-the-job training and industry networks, matched by a well-scaffolded employment pathway plan.

Social Enterprise is one of the three pillars that supports the CuriousWorks model.
