OUR SOCIAL ENTERPRISE MODEL

The skill and professionalism of the Curious Creators was awe-inspiring with great leadership that engages and encourages young emerging artists to explore and experiment.

Lily Shearer
Artistic Director, Moogahlin Performing Arts

Our unique Social Enterprise model delivers professional products at lower cost while supporting skill building and professional development with young people from diverse cultural backgrounds who live in Western Sydney.

CuriousWorks’ Social Enterprise Program pairs experienced community artists and filmmakers with young, talented, aspiring trainee artists (our Curious Creators) to deliver a range of professional community workshops, digital expertise and video production services to our clients.

In the process, our trainee artists get paid on-the- job training and develop professional skills, industry networks and employment pathways opportunities. The Social Enterprise Program also builds diversity in NSW creative industries and is a sustainable and independent income stream for CuriousWorks.
